The Story

The Lina Network DAC was a landmark product for dCS — their first component designed from the ground up for headphone listening. It brings the Ring DAC, dCS's proprietary Expanse processing, and a touchscreen interface to a compact chassis that pairs naturally with the Lina Headphone Amplifier.

Despite its compact size, the Lina Network DAC is a fully featured streaming DAC supporting Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, Roon, AirPlay, and UPnP. Its machined aluminum chassis, derived from the same billet-machining approach used in the Varèse, provides excellent acoustic isolation.

Adding the Lina Master Clock delivers meaningful improvements in timing precision, spatial definition, and low-level detail — transforming the Lina system from excellent to extraordinary.
