Chronosonic XVX
The speaker that redefined what Wilson Audio is capable of. A four-way, seven-driver design with an open-gantry architecture that introduced technologies now cascading through the entire Wilson line.
Schedule a DemoThe Chronosonic XVX was a watershed moment for Wilson Audio. It introduced the QuadraMag midrange driver, V-Material cabinet construction, and in-house AudioCapX capacitors — a trio of innovations so significant that every Wilson speaker released since has incorporated them.
The open-gantry architecture eliminates pressure buildup behind the upper drivers, while four separate, independently adjustable enclosures enable time-alignment precision to within two microseconds at the listening position.
Seven drivers span a 16Hz–30kHz bandwidth with extraordinary coherence. The 7-inch QuadraMag AlNiCo midrange delivers a harmonic beauty and tonal density that reviewers have called the heart and soul of the Chronosonic. Twin woofers — 10.5-inch and 12.5-inch — provide bass that is both powerful and articulate.
Standing 76 inches tall with a visual presence that is equal parts sculpture and engineering, the XVX remains one of the most celebrated loudspeakers of the modern era.
